About the project
Teton Valley Resort is a campground and full-service resort offering cabins, teepees, and RV sites along with pool, spa, clubhouse, and café. With over 50 cabins and 60 RV sites, the Resort requires considerable infrastructure to function including sewer, culinary water, and irrigation. Landscape amenities make the site enjoyable, adding privacy and screening from the Highway. The third phase of the project was a major expansion, adding RV sites, restrooms, and a multiuse pathway.
How we did it
Harmony provided a suite of services to support the resort expansion. This included platting and entitlement services for annexation into the City of Victor and a zone change, in addition to full site civil engineering design and construction administration services.
The water system design included a water meter building, metering devices, and distribution system. The sanitary sewer system is an extension of the Victor system and included service connections to each RV site. Harmony also completed roadway design and overall site grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans. The water and sewer plans were submitted and approved by Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, and a Stormwater Pollution Protection Plan was created to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Engineering and design for a multiuse pathway along SH 31 was also provided for the length of the property, connecting to existing pathway and extending Victor’s multiuse network to adjacent neighborhoods. The pathway design included four vehicle access crossings with crosswalks, protecting sight distance and creating safe intersections for pedestrians and cars accessing the Resort.
